CRYMELIGHT Beginner Guide

Start with the core loop: clear a stage, pick one of three skill cards, finish a poker hand, and spend repentance materials on upgrades that survive a failed run.

1Play the opening stages to learn dodge timing, attack cancels, and arena flow.
2Clear a stage, then choose one of the three skill cards offered for Alice's hand.
3Aim for a poker hand that completes early so your skill effects keep scaling.
4Defeated souls expand the Wonder Dimension and open room to reposition in a fight.
5Confess collected sins after a run and spend the tears on weapons and accessories.
6Check platform status before buying, because Steam is delayed while PS5 and Switch 2 are already live.

CRYMELIGHT Poker System

The CRYMELIGHT poker system keeps a fixed five-card hand and asks which cards to hold, replace, or build around while real-time combat keeps moving.

Five SlotsYour hand holds five skill cards and never grows, so every new card replaces an old one.
Three-Card DraftEach stage clear offers three skill cards, and you add only one of them to the hand.
Hand StrengthStronger poker combinations produce stronger card effects and change how a fight plays out.
Live CombatThe poker layer sits on top of real-time combat, so every card has to earn its slot twice.
Run ResetCards are lost when Alice is sent back in time, while purchased upgrades are kept.

A Tier

Three of a kind is rated high reachability and forms a dependable mid-run target.

B Tier

Full house and flush sit at medium reachability and need deliberate card picks.

C Tier

Royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, and straight are low or unrealistic to force.
